If you have a yen for the rock-jazz-funk-blues fusion of the 1950s, '60s, '70s and '80s, head to Firehouse Lot at 10 PM on Saturday and Sunday Nights. This event elongates our definition of "Jazz" by a pretty good stretch. We're even keeping the doors open for an extra half hour so the assembled fans can hear covers of tunes by such artists as the Neville Brothers, Elvis Presley, Al Jarreau, Earth Wind and Fire, Tower of Power, Blood Sweat and Tears, Ray Charles, Chicago, Bruce Springsteen, and Huey Lewis and the News. There's even a little Doo-Wop, we are told.
Over 450 sets of live music!
